Has anyone been to the Aubrey Rose Tea Room in La Mesa?  If you have, what did you think?

I think I might take my bridal party there for a tea party the week of the wedding.   I haven't been able to check it out yet.

TIA

My mom went there a couple years ago and she really liked it.  I was thinking about a tea also, so if I go there, I'll let you know!

I have not been there but my friend took me to the Cobblestone Cottage in Alpine and it was great. They have clothese that you can dress up in if you like. They have bothe indoor seating and a lovely garden to sit in.

I was there in December.  It was a neat experience!  It has an antique decor.  They provide hats & boas if you wish to dress up in the back of the room.   Order the Aubrey Rose tea if you like fruity ones.

There's one in Coronado that is opening in the Spring of this year.  If it's a closer location for you.  That's where I'm planning on having mine but not till 2007.
