Hey, Bubbles! National has some really excellent programs I've heard, so yay for you! And it's nice to hear that your FI is so supportive--that's so important during such a stressful times! Just remember to take it easy too, 'cause you can easily overwork yourself (I'm speaking from experience and three months out!)

Thanks, Sofeeuh!  I have been trying to pace myself....At the moment I am getting a ton done cause FI is away until Friday!  I miss him terribly, but at the same time, I feel so productive!  He called me this morning, but I could barely hear him- guess they don't have the best long distance service in Nicaragua!

Two cool wedding things---1) STDs are here!!!!!!  FI and I both like 'em....They are from Vista Print...cheap...but nice...I am SO proud of myself!  Downloaded the pic and put in the text and BAM seven days later-they were here!  I will try to post pics of it....if I can figure it out!!!!

2) My veil is here!!!!  Got it for $40 off a seller on Ebay.....Ramseyscreations....2 Tier cathedral length with 1/4 satin ribbon around the edges...very nice....Glad I didn't pay $250 for a veil like i saw at HCTB!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are movin' along!  We start Evenings for the Engaged on February 21st....which is the same day as my Book Club meeting!  So I have to take a longer hiatus than I wanted, but I will see them in April!  We will be meeting with the music director of the church as well as the catering manager for the RD at the end of Feb too!!!!

I have been thinking about how happy I am now that I have dropped the Masters at SDSU!  I think that the past few months it has hung over my head and although I was doing alright (not great)the difficulty of the program was making me feel bad about myself becuase I wasn't able to produce the quality of work I normally do.....Anyway....just a side note!

MY MOM IS COMING IN FIVE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent her a tentative schedule...uh huh...we have wedding things to do!  I will attatch that list later....gotta get back to organizing my office!

Hi Bubbles, getting caught up on your journal. Yea for your FI! He sounds like a great guy.   Sofeeuh's right..they have a good program, I've thought about them for my Masters after the wedding. Good luck with that! It sounds like you have a ton going on, so don't stress too much, but luckily your FI sounds really helpful. :)

I'm glad the RD deal is working out, and what a great idea doing the Sea World tickets thing! Love it! You sound like you are just movin' along...I think we all get spacey sometimes, its amazing that everything gets done when planning for a wedding, huh?    Your veil sounds beautiful! Have to love love love deals!

Hey, Bubbles! YEAH on the STDs arriving! That is such a great feeling isn't it?  And good job on the veil--what a great price! I'm glad you're feeling productive. Sometimes with the FI doing his own thing I can go 150 mph on the wedding thing and not feel bad.

Sofeeuh- I agree with the vroom vroom wedding planning, but then I feel like I should at least ask his opinion before I make those definite decisions....so I do all the research first then act...we have been able to book everyone on the first meeting!  FI is happy about that one!!!!!

On that note---I just want to write in my journal how much I love him!!!!  He is still out of the country (until Friday) and we celebrated Valentines last weekend...and he totally sucks at remembering dates...even Valentines!  But this morning he called ( I couldn't pick up because I was in an IEP meeting! So he left me a sweet, 'I love you and Happy Vday" message  And I had an email waiting when I got home!!!!

My mom comes in two days!!!!!!!  And then FI comes home the day after....I am soooooooooo excited to see both of them!!!!!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!!!!!

I made a post already, but today it is exactly five months until our day!!!!  Exciting and scary at the same time!!! So much to do and so little time!

My mom is coming tomorrow.  I told her that she could come and meet me at work and meet the kids and see where i work....She is one daring woman!   My MOH and FG are coming over tomorrow afternoon to meet her too!

And then FI comes home on Friday!!!!!  I know it has only been about nine days, but life is different without him.....and I am so looking forward to him being home again!!!!!!

It will be a busy weekend!!!!!  Wedding planning in full swing!

Wow...it has been a little while since I wrote in my journal!  FI came back from Nicaragua and mom and I had a great time...but we really wore ourselves out!!!!!  I have narrowed down the invite choices....and will be getting those at Party City because they are 30% off everyday!!!  I thought about doing DIY..but I know I don't have that kind of time or extreme talent!

FI and I went to the church on Monday and picked out our music....I was kinda pissed though because I had previously asked the music director if I could walk down the isle to our song by Andrea Bocelli played on the piano...he said no problem...but then we met with him on Monday he said No way!!!!!!!  FI wasn't any help in backing me up....I think he just wanted to get out of there and get some food at his parents house!!!  Oh, well....i was talking with a co worker the other day and she told me that I honestly wouldn't even remember the music....I will just be too nervous, anxious and distracted to notice what is playing.....Which is probably true!  Dad and I will probably be leaving a river of tears behind us!!!

Tomorrow we go to the University Club to meet with the catering director to plan the Rehearsal Dinner...mmmmm!  Then Dad and Sandi will meet us and we will go to dinner at The Palm?????  Never eaten there...I think it's new?

FI has until Sunday to give me his guest list or else.....we bumped into one of his friends yesterday and FI had him write down his name and address on a peice of scratch paper and handed it to me...I asked,"Uh, is this how I am going to get your guest list, in pieces?!"  Hopefully I can get the STD's out by Monday!  Then I will do a count and order the invites next week!

Random---because of the color of the BM dresses (grapey red) I am thinking of changing my flowers to calla lillies!

Our Evenings for the Engaged is a trip!  Our presenters are my school librarians parents!!!  Um...slightly uncomfortable!  And it is so elementary...I mean, FI and i have been together for seven years (almost) and we are in our early 30's...WE KNOW EACH OTHER!!!!  I feel like this kind of thing is for couples that have DATED for a year or so...we have lived together for quite some time!  We both feel like it's kind of a waste...but in four weeks we will be done!

Random again---we had Read Across America Day at school-The kids and I wore my jammies and the kids loved it...we had our pilows and blankets and we read all morning...ahhhhh a break from Houghton Mifflin!!!!!

more later...gotta get to bed!

Hi bubbles! Hopefully your Evenings for the Engaged won't be too tedious. I hope with so many couples living together and having been together so many years nowadays, they may have learned to tailor their programs to that more.

I love calla lillies! They are on my invitation and may be in my bouquets too.  Do you mind if I ask how much the Party City invites will cost you? I'm doing it through Costco at 30% off as well, but I love shopping around!
