    Posted: 8/22/2005 at 10:03pm
I've seen a lot of posts asking why their posts are so funky, and it seems
to always turn out they are on a Mac (like me now, when I am home).
Formatting didn't seem to be such a problem before the Great BI Crash of
2005...

Did something change that would make it worse? I can never even post a
working link, now-- not that it was easy before. Seems like I always have
to do it on a PC only.

Maybe I'm using the wrong type of browser-- Safari? Firefox doesn't
seem much better, though....

And I know I'm anal, but I like my text lines to stay on one line... I usually
go back and edit to make them that way.

Is there any way we can remedy this??

Btw, "funkdafied" was taken from a post Brouhaha63 made re: Mac
formatting of posts

Hi there!
I know that Safari on Mac has the hardest time interpreting web pages but it should work better than what you're experiencing. I don't have a Mac here at home, but I'll check it out when I get to work tomorrow and see what I can do.

Thanks for the post :))

Ok,

I'm giving another shot with Firefox on my Mac.

Can I bold?

Or underline?

If I write a really long paragraph will the text remain in unbroken lines or will it break them into smaller bits.  It's hard to tell and even harder to test.  I have to keep writing and writing in order to give it a shot.  Let's see how it goes.

Alright,

Here's an attempt to post a link:
http://download-firefox.org/
Let's see if it goes live!

Basically, Firefox is just another browser.  IE, Safari, Firefox-- they are all browsers.  But Firefox is the only one that seems to work on my Mac.

Good luck!!
