Hey everyone - I am taking a little study break and I wanted to know:

Where are you/did you get dressed the morning of your wedding?

It will be me, 5 BMs, and my mom, and the make up artist at some point.  I was thinking of getting a hotel room the night before the wedding and having everyone get dressed there, but I am not sure what type of room is big enough for all of us, so let me know!

we're planning on getting a room for the night before.. probably a cool suite. our wedding isn't until 2pm so we'll have tons to down time. my sister, when she got married got a suite and her DH got the suite nextdoor. it was kind of cool that they were right next door to each other, but they couldn't see each other!

Yeah, Id say get a suite. My FI is graciously giving up his condo for us (two stories)...so my BMs and I and the moms will be getting ready there the morning before since it is really close to the ceremony site.

My parents' dining room.    It's a little crazy since we're coming back
to my parents' house for the reception, but hey, what's a wedding without
a little craziness?

I'm planning to get ready at my parents' house. It's all the way out in FR, it'll be a bit of a trek for the bridesmaids to come that morning but there are so many great photo opps... I think it'll be worth it.

I got a regular room at Humphrey's which was close to The Thursday Club where our reception was and where we took pictures before the ceremony. I stayed in the room alone the night before the wedding. Two of my 3 BMs were staying there and the other one lives local.

It was me, 3 BMs, the hairdresser, Michele Basile (for about 1.5 hours), then Kelly, our makeup artist, and for awhile the flower girl and my MIL also. It was a bit crowded at certain moments, but honestly, it worked out great. The only problem was the hairdresser and Michele having enough plugs to plug everything in (and we ended up knocking out the power in the room at one point). I didn't have to worry about cleaning the apartment (where DH was living at the time and got ready) or my mom's house (where I was living and where she did all the flowers, so it was a mess)... plus I got some alone time the night before and got some sleep, which was great!

For as many people as you're talking about, it would probably be better to get a suite or just ask for a larger room (maybe one with a separate sitting area or just one bed). It should work fine.

After getting our hair and nails done, the girls will get ready in our hotel suite. . . and the boys will be getting ready in my fiance's parent's condo.

We will be getting ready in hotel rooms at the Catamaran. We don't have much of a choice since we won't be living in SD any more and our friends places are too small.

We'll be getting ready at my parents' house, and it's only about 5 minutes from the ceremony site.  That way maybe my dress won't have time to wrinkle!

I am getting ready at the Hilton which is walking distance to Tom Ham's Lighthouse. It's just me and my MOH so I think our regular room will be fine. I don't think we are spending much time there so I couldn't justify a suite.
If you are in cramped quarters I don't think it will really bother you too much because you will be with people who A.) love you or B.) are making you beautiful for your wedding day! How can a girl go wrong!? :)
