I also am not completely up on all of the wedding etiquette.  But, I have read about a bridesmaid lunch/tea hosted by the bride especially when I read every bridal magazine when I first started planning.  And, I thought that it was a really cute idea if there was time/money for it.  I will be taking my BMs to breakfast the day before the wedding.  At breakfast, I will present them with their gifts from me.  It will be just us, so I thought we could have this personal moment for me to say thanks.

My sister had a bridal luncheon before her wedding and asked my grandmother if she could hold it at her house.  My sister brought deli trays and paper goods from a local shop, and gave us our bridesmaid gifts.  It was very low key but good to have the female bonding time the day before the wedding.
