Ok women, time to show your stuff! *L*

I'm working on invites at the moment and having a total crisis over timing. My contract with the reception is still open at 5 hours. The wedding is at 4:30 and as of now we have all the vendors ready (DJ, Caterer) for the reception at 5:30 at the same site. I'm not thinking the ceremony will last any longer than maybe 20 minutes. Do you think I should make the offical reception time 5 or keep it at 5:30? Do you think Marina Village will care if people start heading up stairs at 5:15? Do people really meander around that much after the ceremony before heading over to the reception? Do I really need to be kept up at night over this? HELP!!!!

Well, our ceremony is at 1:30 and we're starting out cocktail hour at 2... so as long as we start on time, we'll be good. Plus we need to somehow get everyone not to hang around after the ceremony, so we can take pictures... gak, not sure how this is going to work out.

I refuse to lose sleep over it though, I have plenty of other things to keep me up at night (like cats trying to knock pictures off the walls...)

Trying cats eating your house plants.. alive and fake. NICE!

Well the general concencious at Thanksgiving was that I should start the reception/cocktail hour at 5. So now I just have to let my DJ and caterer know... no biggie.

Cool! Glad you don't have to worry about that anymore.

Speaking of cats eating houseplants - I used to have these little green leafy plants in the kitchen window of my apartment (before I met FH) - well, I come home one day, and Max had eated two of them... not just nibbled on the leaves - but EATEN the ENTIRE plant - just little stumps sticking out of the pots... silly monkey.

anyway. happy turkey day :)

I think starting at 5 is a good idea.

As for cats eating plants, my roommate's cat managed to sneak into my room one day while I was out and ate 3 of my leafy mini palms down to little nubs! I'm surprised he didn't get sick!
