Dude, SO not cool.  Ditto to everything above.  I'm actually really suprized that aomw onw (like your agent) hasn't gone over their agent's head and gotten the ball rolling.  That's just ridiculous!  Sorry your haven't been able to enjoy your new place yet.
Ummmm... yeah...

Ugh, how frustrating. At this point I think I'd want the locks changed regardless. That seller sounds very fishy to me! Im sorry you have to deal with this.

Oh, my! I agree with everyone about making the sellers pay and involving BBB, etc. Good luck!

Well, I got the keys. My agent has left messages w/ theirs since Tuesday... finally I called her pretending to be interested in her services as a buyer and she set up a time to meet with me! I was shocked that she answered her phone for me because she never answer's our agent's calls. Maybe she has caller id. So, my husband, our agent and our broker (6'7" and a family friend) went to her office and demanded the keys. We also gave a formal complaint letter to her boss. She was *very* hostile towards us, which isn't surprising because we kind of ambushed her...lol. We were nice even though she told us that we weren't following protocol...WTF? She did claim that the sellers could not find the garage door openers and we told her that it was fine, we'd just send them the bill for a new setup. She didn't object. I think she knows that she was in the wrong.

Thanks for all of the advice. I agree that my agent should have called her boss right away. He said he had never been faced w/ a situation like this. We are definitely going to change the locks... the sellers are strange, shady people.
